The Love Like Lily Foundation's Lily Kate Powell Fine Arts Scholarship exists to provide funds for private lessons in the performing and visual arts to deserving students at the John S. Davidson Fine Arts Public Magnet School in Augusta, GA.
Lily Kate lived life to the fullest. She had an amazing and vivid imagination, love to read constantly, played piano, performed in theater, and danced through life. The scholarship is awarded annually and can be applied toward fine arts lessons in instrumental and vocal lessons, community chorus, classical dance, community theater, and studio art. Applications are reviewed and awarded in the spring semester. Funds are sent to the designated fine arts instructor or institution and applied toward the recipient's tuition and fees.

2021 Scholarship Awards
The Love Like Lily Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2021 Lily Kate Powell Fine Arts Scholarship Recipient is
Bennett Wright
Bennett Wright
According to Davidson Chorale Director Phillip Streetman, "Bennett lives and breathes music, and has spent his middle school and high school career in some form of vocal endeavor at almost every moment. This year, he is in two of my choirs. When not in choir, he sings in the halls. I can't imagine him not being involved at the collegiate level, and my only regret is that he is graduating this year. There will be a significant hole in my program that I am certain I will not be able to fill."
